Intimacy doesn't change just because you try harder.
It changes when you understand what's actually happening beneath the surface.
This is for the woman who's felt disconnected from her desire, distant from her own body, frustrated by repeating patterns, or confused by changes in her relationship with intimacy. You may not be doing anything wrong.
You may simply be in a phase you don't yet have language for.
Most people think intimacy is supposed to stay the same. It doesn't.
And yet most of us were taught to interpret those changes as problems. As failures. As proof that something is wrong.
The problem isn't that intimacy changes. The problem is that most of us were never taught how to understand those changes.
See the FrameworkYou might recognize yourself here.
You've learned how to succeed in many areas of your life, but intimacy still feels harder than it seems like it should.
You've wondered whether something is wrong with you because intimacy doesn't look or feel the way you expected.
You've learned how to care for everyone else but struggle to stay connected to yourself.
You've outgrown old versions of yourself and are trying to understand what comes next.
You want a relationship with intimacy that feels more honest than performative.
You've been looking for deeper answers than "communicate more" or "try harder."
The goal was never to tell women who to become.
It was to help them hear themselves again.
For years, I've watched women search for answers to intimacy challenges they assumed meant something was wrong with them — when often they were experiencing something they simply didn't have the language or framework to understand.
As a licensed professional counselor and intimacy educator, I've worked at the intersection of desire, identity, connection, and self-worth — helping people understand the patterns shaping their relationship with intimacy.
That work led me to create Shamaree LAB™ — a space built around a different question:
Not "what's wrong with me?"
But "what is my relationship with intimacy asking me to notice?"
Not fixing. Understanding.
Not performing. Listening.
Not becoming someone new. Making sense of what's already true.

Intimacy is developmental.
Pleasure is information.
Desire is adaptive.

No universal rules. No one-size-fits-all blueprint. No prescriptions for who you should be. Only deeper understanding of who you already are.
Your relationship with intimacy is telling a story.
The assessment helps you understand what it's trying to say.
